Replacing radiator cap

Sorry if this is a noob question, but I'd like some experienced input on this

Is it safe for our TLs to switch from 0.9 bar to 1.1 bar? How does the raised pressure affect our cooling system's performance?

Is there a reason for doing it?
I swapped out my cap after seeing high pressure water residue near it. Figured it was good preventative maintenance.

I just went with OEM though.

I'm close to 100K miles now so I just wanted to include it in maintenance since it's really cheap and easy to replace, but I don't fully understand what raising pressure/coolant temperature threshold does for your car. And me too! Just went with OEM

@WDPanda Mine was always 0.9, but I guess the new OEM caps are rated 1.1? This is why I'm asking if it's safe haha

.9 Bar to 1.1 Bar is an increase of about 3 psi, which translates to increasing the boiling point of the coolant by 9 degrees.

Should be no problem for your cooling system.
