STILL LOOKING for the responses about the yellow Lexus look. Yellow light works SO much better in fog and rain then white. Really wanting to find a good solution.
On that note. Anyone out there performe the 6000 Kelvin upgrade to the HID's of the '04 yet?

my vote would be for the Luks 9006 80w
Laser Blue Ion..why is everyone looking into the gold ones...i dont find those appealing... those remind me of the first fog lights out on the trucks back in the 80's...

What do you expect for so little $$$
Mine were the same in that they were mis-marked as white, but were yellow.
It is the factory, not midnight

i was wondering
MTHUCH,
The foglights you said that you make for your TL can you make them for a third generation TL where the foglights are together with the regular headlight? If you can please let me know.
thanks

Are they hard to replace? About how long is this process? I also wanted to clear the headlights while I had them out. Im new to clearing headlights and was wondering if it was hard and if people here have done it before.

An update for those that want to change their fog lights to gold/blue/superwhite, etc...
MidnightMoose.com has started their annual Halloween sale now thru Monday AM. I'm getting 3 pairs of MaxGolds for $15/pair so that oncoming cars don't flash me when my fogs are on and to make the front look better at night.

I found that I COULD NOT turn the bulb socket as instructed in Streps 3 and 4 above. I used a small mirror and found that there are 3 screws holding down the 3 wings that hold the socket in place. By loosening one of these 3 screws 2 or 3 rotations, the bulb sockets twisted out as expected and with very little force.
So if you try to turn the bulb socket and it doesnt come out, Dont force it. Get a stubby philips head and go after one of the 3 screws (if you have them) that holds the socket into the mounting.

Not sure what to think about it, but thanks for posting about it (also does not match owners manual or svc manual for bulb replacement.)
