i've tried doing a search but was unable to find anything.

does anyone know a good place to repair rims in the NYC area for the TL?

dependin on wha u need, i know of some spots. if its a dent in the rim, theres a spot on 155st and st nicholas place, not ave (its before you hit the bridge to go to yankee stadium) the place is located next to a fried chicken spot. the guy is good but a bit pricey, but i think he's reasonable. if you dont like that dude, you can drive down jerome ave in the bronx and you will find a spot that does it, i just cant remember where. as a last resort, i bought a rim from an internet site.....wheelsamerica.com (i think) they can repair rims and powder coat them again for you. the only thing is that they are located in Long Island somewhere. if you need some more help PM me. Easy...

i have the same problem. i contacted a guy in new rochelle somewhere. he charges $115 and it takes a day. rodney also told me about a place in sufflok county. let me know how the guy in the heights is. i might interested.

hey dmz, i just went to the fixrim website and priced a 2006 tl wheel, $165. kind of expensive.

That's without trade-in of your old bent wheel. Their work is such that the wheel you'll buy looks brand new.

$165 is way cheaper than what I had paid to get mine repaired . . . just to get rebent again a month later.

I hear that mobilewheelrepair.com is good, but the local franchise or should I say the franchisor down here blows donkey nuts because he never returned any of my phone calls. Pretty sad when your franchisees have to make you look good, but I digress.

I have a 2005 TL rim in new condition for sale. It has a minor scratch on the side where my wife scuffed the curb.

There is a guy that does it in Freeport, Long Island (Nassau County) that charges about $75 to fix the rim. Takes about a day and I've gotten 2 rims fixed from him, you might wanna give him a shot.
