I think i might be removing my tints this coming weekend... why u may ask, well i want a nice new classy look 35% all around for this coming up summer, so i might stay witout tints till then... got sick of the darkness.

My setup right now is 5% rear and 20% front...

To remove or not to remove thats the question..

I personally think that 35% is the lowest one should go.

 

I have 35% all around and I love it.

 

Go tintless.

 

35 would be too light and u will want to get darker after awhile. 30 would be perfect and leave the back alone

 

i leave my tints 20% all around,because i hate when i stop at the light and ppl are always in my face

 

if it was up to me id keep them like that

 

go darker...i have 5% all the way around with 10% on the front windshield.

 

ABP is meant to be tinted.. I have the exact setup as you do now. I like it.. .. I did have 5% all around but changed for inspection & my gf kept complaining how she can't see at night when driving it. lol.

 

KEEP IT! i do not like the look of cars with no tint...... very plain not classy

I think your setup is a little too dark for my liking, my brothers ridgeline has 10 in back 18 up front and i can barely see out when i'm driving it, but honestly it's not worth the 250 dollars to retint it lighter

 

i definitely like your car with tints.... I have 15 all the way around with 15 on the windshield..... i also have NBP

 

Leave it with tints. There are many reasons someone might want to keep tints, mostly personal (think about it). Mainly, the sun will get annoying when its all up in your face. I recently drove my fathers CR-V which is tinted 35 percent on all windows except the fronts which have no tints at all. It was very annoying.

Is 5% really that dark?? Still debating whether I should get 20% or 5%... How bad is it when driving at night?

 

Only 5% light transmittal out so most people can't see or recognize anything looking in. Looking out is fine during the day IMO, at night it takes some getting used to.

I think the tints you have on it now are perfect, but go with what you like.

 

5% is so dark you won't be able to see out of the back.

There is a reason they call it "limo #5". Picture being inside a limo, that's how dark 5% is.

 

I see out out my back fine.. but like I said.. it's takes a little getting used to.

I meant removing windshield tint. Keep front side tints.

 

Only reason to de-tint is cops, if they aren't after you, then leave it!!!

i have 20 all around and 50 on the windshield...keeps it dark yet classy at the same time...i can never imagine having a car with outt ints personally

I have 35% all around which is the max I can go to in MA..Clear windshield... it definitely keeps the classy look it's light enough yet helps with those very sunny days. Perfect at night too.

 

IMO 35% is a bit too light ... I like your current setup . keep it ..

 

I have said it before but it really depends on the type of tint and level of darkness. Too dark is gHeTtO!!!! Mirror is SupEr GhEtTo!!! I would go with 25-30% for the classy look.

 

I have 30%. It is absolutely perfect. I was in the 20%-35% dilemma for a long time. There is no better compromise. I can see on rainy nights and the cops never say a thing.
