Removing rear bumper and A-spec Kit
Has anyone removed their rear bumper without help from another person? How hard is it to do?
I'm thinking of installing the A-spec body kit by myself. Is it really neccessary to install the front spoiler in temperatures 60 degrees F and above?
I never took a front or rear bumper off a car before. I did install the 03 Accord coupe body kit by myself. This is without lifting the car up or using ramps.

You do not need to remove the rear bumper to install the A-Spec kit. It is an add-on piece (as is the front). You do need to drill a few holes in the front, but that's it. The only body pieces you will need to remove are the side skirts, which are replaced by new A-Spec side skirts.
A higher temp is better, because the tape sticks better. The kit already has fitment issues, so take your time, and don't do it in very cold weather, because it might not stick as well, and you might have gaps.

You could do it on the car, it would be easier IMO to put it on if the bumper was off, and if you had it off, you could take it into the house and install it when it reached room temperature. This way you could take your time instead of freezing your butt off and rushing it.

I (by myself) removed the front and rear bumper to add on the spoiler. It's much easiler.
Two important point. Having the right temperture and clean surface for the sticky back to security longer.
And lining up the spoiler on to the bumper line (this will make the two pieces looking as one).

The rear bumper seems pretty easy to remove. After removing the screws, bolts, etc, is there anything I should know before removing the rear bumper?
How hard is it to remove the front bumper? Compared to the rear?

You don't need to remove the front bumper. Don't need to drill the two holes suggested from the instruction. Just remove the two front small pieces as directed by the instruction. And follow the rest of the other instructions.
Put a blanket to cover the rear bumper area prior to removing the rear bumper. This will help to protect your rear bumper once it is off the car.
If you were in the So. Cal. area. I would be able to help you get it done within a hour.
good luck

Are you friggen kidding me?? I installed my A-spec kit myself in about 2 hours... the rear bumper does NOT need to come off.
I don't get at all why it's easier to go through the hassle of taking it off, installed the a-spec rear underspoiler, then installing the combo back onto the rear end.
Explain why that's easier???
BTW, my bodykit install is solid, and has been for nearly the 8 months that I've had my vehicle.

Kwtl: Which two holes are you refering to? What two front small pieces?
PeterUbers: If the rear bumper does not need to come off than how did you drill the four holes on the back of the bumper? If you didn't drill the holes can you explain how you got the rear under spoiler to stay?

Removing front or rear bumper
When removing the front or rear bumper, after removing the screws, bolts, clips, does the bumper just fall off or do you have to pull on the bumper to pull it out?

I dont know about the front, but on the rear, there are litl clips holding it in place after removing all the screws. Becareful when taking on and off the bumper becuase after you take it off, there's no garuntee you can get it back on and line up perfectly.

For the front, you really have to pull. There are built in clips in the body that help hold the bumper on even after the screws and plastic clips are removed. The bumper is hardest to remove right below the corner lights...I learned thatteh easiest way to remove at those points is to push from the inside while pulling from the outside. It takes a fair amount of force
