Remote Starter & Tinted Glass in MD
Good day Everyone,
In Maryland, DC, VA, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or Delaware (I am willing to travel for great service and great work)...
Does anyone know of a recommended Tinted Glass place in maryland that does a good job that lasts?
Does anyone know of a recommendted Remote Starter installation dealer out there who installs compustar, viper, or directstart, or any other factory recommended remote starter. With that said does anyone know if any of the previously mentioned manufactures are factory recommended for the Acura TL?
Thanks in Advanced for your help.

I took my 04 SSM TL to the Details, Details, near the intersection of Gude and 355 in Rockville:
Details, Details, Details
15125 Frederick Road
Rockville, MD 20852
301-294-3050
http://www.detailsdetailsdetails.com/contactus.htm
Details outsources their tint jobs to Winner's Tint (http://www.winnerstint.com/tinting.php)
Overall, I was very satisfied with the job. Got the Solar Gard 35% Non-Reflective Charcoal tint all around.

Go to www.latint.com. They are located in Sterling, VA. Their work is great and they are very professional. I have had 3 cars tinted from them with Formula One Film. None of them have ever peeled, fadded, changed color or bubbled. One visit and you are good for the life of the car. They do the job right the first time. Their rates are inline also.

I'd like to know the answer to your remote starter question as well. I had a aftermarket remote starter in my Grand Prix which I sold when I got my new TL. I know I'm going to miss the remote starter big time when winter comes.

I put in a request to compustar for dealers in the area this is what they came back with.
Our two dealers in MD are:
Thumpin Car Stereo, Inc
17715 Virginia Ave
Hagerstown
301-739-5985
Audio Profile http://www.alertsecurity-audio.com/
7519 Ritchie Hwy
Glen Burnie
410-768-0506
We also have a dealer in D.C
Alert Security & Auto Sound http://pages.annearundelcounty.com/auto/audio.htm
2060 W. Virginia Ave NE
202-526-9300
After talking to group in DC they figured that they would most likely recommend the installation of http://www.crimestopper.com/index3.html (Crime Stopper) since they don't have a remote start only version of the compustar. They do have a version that will connect to the existing FOB so that is nice and I really don't have an issue with the limited distance for car start and they also have a bypass.
I am still trying to find another group though to see if anyone does have the compustar system. I don't want to take a chance of getting an inferior product not that crime stopper is inferior but that is why I am looking for suggestions here.
Thanks for the latint group, they look like a great possibility. I will make a final decision in a couple of weeks after more research, I will be sure to let you guys in on what I find.
