Regional forums?

Has it ever been brought up to make region based forum sections? Like Midwest, Northeast, South, etc...and then sub forums by states? I dont know, just thought it would be nice to see who by my area that owns a TL is on here. I didn't see it on the FAQ section so thought I would maybe bring it up...

Good point. Easier for setting up meets too. Then again, talk amongst the whole community is alot of fun.

It is but it would be easier, like you said to set up meets more in a certain area then saying "NYC meet" and barely get many responses back because it isnt mentioned in a specific area. I mean they can post in the third gen, second gen, first gen section...who's to say everyone from that region can see it?

I would think otherwise. It takes away from all the clutterness in the third gen forums...too many subforums?....isnt that why people are given mod status? People acan be made mods for those forums.

This is all just an opinion though so don't flame me for it, lol.

Its very easy to meet ziners in your area. Pick a date and place and make a thread in the Off Topic section (click link at top of every azine page) then Meets section
People list by phone area code or city, make a sign up list and see what happens.
I made one for Stockton Ca, and those who signed up have added the info to their signature- so others see it and can join in
