I could not find the thread with the tranny recall info, I happened to be at my dealership and asked them about it. My TL was not effected by the recall, and it is a fairly early build (Feb 04 if I remember right) It is a recall that Acura will do a oil jet fix if your car has under 15k mile sonit, and if its under then they will pull the tranny check for heat marks and make necessary repairs. This of course is on there dime if you can get the car to them. I try to find the info for you..seems like it may have been through MSN that I found more info.
Found this....still looking for the actual recall.

Honda announced in a news release that it will expand its existing voluntary recall of light truck models for a potential transmission defect to include certain Honda and Acura passenger cars.
The action involves approximately 499,000 Honda and Acura passenger vehicles with V-6 engines and 5-speed automatic transmissions. Affected models include certain 2003 and early 2004 model Accord V6 sedans and coupes, 2000-2003 and early 2004 Acura TL sedans, and 2001-2003 Acura CL coupes.
The situation is created by insufficient lubrication of the transmission's secondary shaft second gear that can occur under certain driving conditions. Prolonged operation under these conditions can lead to heat build-up and under certain circumstances may eventually result in chipped or broken gear teeth or breakage of the gear. In the event of a chipped or broken tooth, the owner will likely experience abnormal noise from the transmission and seek repairs. In rare instances, this condition may lead to gear breakage and possible locking of the vehicle's transmission, creating a potential safety hazard.
Honda said it has found only one confirmed instance of a transmission failure related to this defect in its passenger cars, with no accidents or injuries. "We are acting out of an abundance of caution to ensure that this doesn't become an issue for our customers," said Tom Elliott, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted via mail and will be asked to take their vehicle to an authorized Honda or Acura dealer to be repaired free of charge. Customer mailings will begin in late July.

Since you are in Europe, You'll either have to pay an Acura dealer to send you one, and have a local shop install it (Honda dealer would be best, since they're familiar with it) or buy one from a local Honda dealer (if the part number is the same, dunno if it is) & have it installed. Either way, since there are no Acura dealers in Europe, you will probably have to contact Acura Client Services to seek reimbursement after the repair is done.
Do yourself a favor & call them BEFORE you do anything. You may not be in the VIN range, or it may have already been done. Even if it still needs to be done, you'll want to get with them first & see how they'll work this with you.

You hid the last four digits... if it's > 14224, you're fine and already have built-in oil jet kit.
Go to Owner's Link on Acura.com, and register there and put your VIN, after a few days, the system will tell you if your car requires any update or recall.
Wish these would be helpful to you...
