Rearview Mirrow

anyone have to change their rearview mirror because the autodim does not dim anymore? this happened on my 02 tls but i was turning it in in a few months so i just let it go. but as i have 2 years left on my 04 lease, i was wondering if i am doing something that is frying these things out or if it is a common problem. i now notice that at night with the autodim on, the mirror isn't really tinting and headlights are blinding!

thx

thats why you have a warranty

bring it to the dealer, they will replace it

plus you have a lease, why would you spend money on something you aren't going to keep?

who said anything about spending money? obviously the next step would be to take it to the dealer and have them look at it. i wanted to know if anyone had a similar experience or any insight on this. do these mirrors just wear out?
