I'm also interested in this GB for a winged spoiler.

Thanks.
My problem is that I never get emails about PMs, and I don't post more because for some reason the site won't autosubscribe me to threads I've posted to or send me a reply to post email.

I'm on AIM all day (hondacuraworld) by email ( hondacuraworld@aol.com ) or by phone (1-888-729-5257) , so contacting me is easy, and I do apologize about my lack of participation here. Until those issues are fixed, it's impossible for me to keep up.......

The buy is now up through July 19th, all orders placed before 3 PM EST tomorrow will have a time advantage over those placed after, as our weekly stock order is placed at that time.

Thanks to all!

Im gonna order the rear deck lid spoiler, what do you guys think, i dotn really work on cars, but should i jus do this install myself, or have someone do it for me? I know there's no drilling invovled, but i'm afraid that i might mess up the alignment when i put it on, then i'm screwed.

With the OEM lip spoiler there IS drilling involved.

The rear deck likd spoiler, there's not drilling involved right? Just use the 3m TAPED to put it on?

No, for both spoilers there is drilling required. You use double sided tape in conjunction with the drilling for the deck lid spoiler. This is for the OEM Acura spoilers. There may be other ones which are not OEM which do not require drilling but the Acura spoilers do.

Here's the instructions for an 04 decklid spoiler : https://hondacuraworld.hostasaurus.c...unkspoiler.pdf

Drilling IS involved as previously stated.

I installed the OEM lip and it required drilling 2 holes. But the install went very easy. Just measure twice and drill once.

I found a spring tool. Just do a google search on 'acura spring tools'.

Cost me $26 and change. A lot for one time use, but will probably save the neighborhood from a lot of shouted profanities.

Thanks, Trance, for the head's up on the sale.

I'm tempted to order a deck lid spoiler, but I've never installed a spoiler on any car before. Can you (or anyone else who's installed the deck lid spoiler) tell me, on a scale of 1 to 10, the difficulty/frustration in installing one? I'm sure it depends on the person. I'm pretty good with do-it-yourself projects...as long as I do enough research.

Thanks for any input, guys.

The holes are in different places so you can't switch spoilers. The only thing you could do is to grind off the studs and just use the 3M tape to mount the other one, so it is better to be sure what you want before you start drilling holes.

I want to buy this, but I have a 2006 TL. I noticed that the link provided was a 2004-2005 Wing.

There is a 2004-2006 Wing listed on his site too, but it's a bit more.

Are the 2005 and 2006 wings identical?
