Rear windshield??
Hello everyone, so I'm in the process of taking off all my tint. I wanna rock the fishbowl look for a while. I took all the tint off except the rear windshield. My defogger lines are all screwed up. Some work and some don't. So I was gonna just break the rear windshield myself and put a claim in with my insurance and get a new glass. So my question is has anyone had their rear windshield replaced and if so, who did it and if other than dealer, did they have the rite rubber kit to put back on? Also do any of the interior pieces from the rear deck have to come out? Any feedback would be appreciated....thank you

Frost Fighter 2100 Defroster Grid Repair Kits
The reviews seem to be positive, and probably much easier then smashing your windshield and then claiming it on your insurance...just a thought...
Good luck with whtever you decide to do.

Or, you could just have the defroster lines reparied by a pro, or do it yourself with a repair kit like this one:
