Is it loose where the mirror attaches to the arm, or where the arm attaches to the car?

If it is the first, there is no adjustment and you will need to get the mirror replaced.

If it is the second, they may be able to tighten it where the arm attaches to the clip, but you have to remove the roof console to get to it.

Either way, sounds like a trip to the service department.

By the way, you are talking about the inside mirror, right?

Have you looked at it? Usually there is a cover that pops off, and then a Tork screw that tightens up the mirror in its socket - again, as Ron A says, peeps need to provide as much info as they can to get a good answer (I need to write a thread on that topic).

Ron - have you had the assy apart? You sure there is not locating screw that can be tightened to cinch up the socket "ball"?

Yes RR, I RTFM, in this case the service manual. There is a bracket attached to the roof by a bolt from the inside area, and the mirror arm just slides into this bracket, and there is a clip that holds it in.

In the good old days they had lots of little allen screws you could tighten, but now I don't see any way to get inside the assembly, so if the ball and socket loosen up, then a new mirror is in order, or on order, if you will.

Planned obsolescence?
