Rear view mirror
Did you scratch the glass or the housing? If the housing, you can get it painted on the car, so you might mean the glass. The housing can be removed by removing the front door sash inner trim, the connector, and 3 bolts. You don't have to remove the door panel. The glass can be removed from the outside, but it is a little more complicated and I probably wouldn't try it myself, but if you want to remove the glass, let me know and I will try and give you the steps.
Edit: I just saw your reply above. Chill out, you need to wait more than 24 minutes. Some of us have to go to the bathroom once in a while, or something like that.

This link was posted before for optional accessories and is worth repeating.

LOL. Thanks for the reply.
I'm really p*ssed off at myself. I scratched the housing. I'm gonna get it repainted on monday but i'm afraid that the color might not match (SSM). Also I don't want them painting the mirror on the car because I need my car to drive. I'm thinking of getting a new housing.
How do you take the glass off?

If you want to take the mirror housing off, that's the easy part. They should be able to match the paint, especially on a new car. If they don't want too much you could let them take it off.
For the mirror:
1. Adjust the mirror fully to the inward position
2. Insert a long flat tipped screwdriver between the alignment tabs (at the 5 o'clock position (don't ask if it is AM or PM). For the left hand mirror it would be the 7 o'clock position
3. Quickly twist the screwdriver to separate the mirror holder from the mirror actuator.
4. Insert further and twist again
5. Disconnect the connectors from the terminals

You will still have to get the housing painted since they do not come painted. But you could use the other parts if you just replaced the housing. But you don't need to replace the housing if all you need is to get it painted. Most dealers probably don't stock the housing, but you can check. The end (I hope)

I love this guy.

Since two years ago, I have heard some repair shops saying thieves' popular target is to steal those electronic folding side mirrors, especiall those bimmers', this is much easier than to remove Xeron headlight.
For example, if you park your S500 and fold your side mirror, theives just need the screwdriver (as Ron A said above) to remove it, then owners have to pay $$$ to get replacement.
