Yes you do. It does not just pry out easily unless you give it a gap.
You also need to offload the suspension by putting the front end on jack stands first. The engine does not lift off the rear mount if the suspension is loaded.

The engine does not lift off the rear mount with front or side mount loosened, sitting on the floor. I already tried this.
You need to jack toward the very rear of the transmission, with a piece of wood block on a hydraulic jack.

I’m just saying I did innovative mounts last year..... not once did I “unload” the suspension.
