Rear brembo covers?
Seriously man .. fuck the rest.. just do it. I have been contemplating this for a long time too. Lot of people have been contemplating this.. but are too chicken shit to admit it because they seek approval from this board as if they are married to Azine.
Totally not down with spending 1g for rear brakes when they don't do shit.

I wanna do it so it matches my front Brembos I dont give a shit if I dont have real rear brembos. The only people who would care are the people on this forum anyone else is going to not even notice or think they look sweet (if they look sweet)
Look if i was you i just do it, if you dont like thet way they look after you have installed them, take them off and keep doing things for you not for the rest of people on the forums.
Advice, you dont need approval from us when it comesm to something you like or want to do in your own car...

this is all I did...G2 black caliper paint and Acura Decals. Held up great for over 4 years now. Not trying to look like the Brembos on the front, just trying to complement them.

I think it will look really nice
. I never want to buy a BBK because it's so expensive and I will not really need them ( almost 1000 just for the look
). Last year , a student in my school drive a Infiniti couple G35 ( 04-05 I'm not sure ) with the red Brembo cover. When we came close to take a look at the caliper, he just bumped on the gas to let the intake make some noise to let us go away. All he wants is just to show the middle-low school that he rich
. That's just my story. If you want the look, I think you can go head and do it.But if you tell people that you have the real one then I will turn against you
. Good luck .

i think i might do the acura decal on mine
I think thats what he was talking about all along Tinteduptls
he just wants the back to match the front... not "fake the funk" by pretending to have rear brembos.
I like the idea. I covered my keyhole on my drivers door but I'm not trying to pretend I have push button start. It doesn't even serve any purpose... its just to match the rest of the car and clean up the overall look of it.

no, i just painted them black since i read that the covers are basically glued together
I mentioned this a few times but I did this mod over 2 years ago. I was tired of waiting for someone to try it. I took the chance and I was probably one of the first to try it. I thought if they suck, whatever, just chuck em. I'm glad I took the chance. As usual people will have their opinions online but most people who see them in person are surprised how good they look. Some may say, "looks great but I wouldn't do it." I'll respect that. Some even think it looks great and want to do it as well. Dan bought his after seeing mine. It's another case of people who don't have the mod, seen it or tried it that want to knock it. People can think what they want, they can do what they want to THEIR car. This is mine and I had the balls to try. This car is not to impress anyone. I always say that. It's my car and my hobby.
I'm changing my rotors soon. The only real giveaway is that it will remain stock size otherwise at quick glance you really WILL think it is a BBK. And I bought them in black so they WON'T stand out at all. Understated and way better than the stock look. If you don't want the fake Brembo label, just take it off. You can put on stickers that say Acura or have the symbol on them. After the $10000s I've spent on this car why not BBK? I don't need the performance, I'm REAL light on the brakes. 94K miles on ORIGINAL pads and rotors right now!! But I do like the look. I dropped enough into this car.
I painted the caliper with black Dupli-Color caliper paint first so that it camouflages parts of the caliper underneath. I had to trim a little bit of the cover to make it fit flush and in such a way it doesn't impede any of the mechnicals. I used a heavy amount of high-temp black silicone and clamped them on for a couple hours. I've thought they may come off over time but nope 2yrs+ and NO problems whatsoever.
I know, I know, you guys want pictures of course!! Too cold, I'm lazy to snap some right now. Let me dig pics up, they're somewhere......

No, I got em from Ebay but it's the same stuff from Asia. Ebay has better selection. You can get em in grey, gold, white and black aside from the generic red yellow and blue if you look. I didn't see much selection on that website. I have the 4 piece "new brembo" set in black. The other styles look "faker"

I don't care what people think or say about putting these on. Alot of people put A-spec lip kits on type s and base models . That's fake and nobody harasses them. The stock calipers look like s*** and to spend the money to upgrade for looks is not an option. Stock braking is very suitable for everyday driving. I would consider these if they looked good. I want pics.
damn, people are selling fake TLs? does the dealership know that when they try and sell the A-Spec package at vehicle purchase? hmm wait.. does that mean the dealerships are selling us fake TLs????
and I lost my receipt!!!!!

I saw an 8th gen accord with Frembos (caliper covers) the other day. It looked like crap. You could still see the stock silver calipers under the edges and the wrap around brake line piece just went nowhere.
Just paint your rear calipers black. That's what I did and it looks great IMO. Plus, quite a few cars come with fixed calipers up front and single piston sliding ones in the rear (like the TL), so it doesn't look out of the ordinary.
Audi TT RS for example:
