REAL quick headlight question

All I need to know is if when you take out the amber side marker, do the signals still flash orange? or are they white bulbs? Oh and if they are white, is it legal to have white turn signals? sorry for my newbishness lol

The bulbs are not amber. They are a yellowish white. In most states you are allowed white or amber front turn signals. Check your state laws to confirm.

I'm not sure if it's legal or not...but I've never heard of anyone being pulled over for different colored turn signals...I might just go ahead and do it. opinions?

I kept mine white but I think I will upgrade to LEDS soon just cause the white looks dull next to the hids of the headlights. Plus I couldnt find a damn place that sold amber 7443 bulbs.

yes they require a load resistor to be place on each side if you want them to blink at a normal rate. Really easy install, theres a DIY in the garage and the switchbacks are plug in play.

I have my turn signal reflectors blacked out and the switchbacks are still really bright during the day. Nothing to worry about there, they just look even brighter at night. I used a high gloss heat resistant paint for the headlight so i dont know if that helping, im guessing it does because it reflects alot during the day and night.

I used a low gloss black to paint my reflectors. If I had to do it again, I would have taped off the back of the reflector, than painted the rest of the turn signal. Mine is very bright during the day but my mirror blinkers take car of that matter. During the night the turn signals are fairly bright and noticeable.

nope, it was easy. Just cut some painters tape into little strips and wrap it around the lights. Then for the lights on the top just cut some little squares to put over them, paint and you're good!
