Well I dont know if this is exactly the place to post this but I'm so pissed after my drive into work.

I'm driving down the HWY, usual 30-50mph stop and go. And this female flicks her cig. bud out the window and it hits my car. I'm pissed as hell by now lol... honk, flick my lights at her, and I even got out my camera on my phone and took a pic of her plates.. Ya i know not the best thing to do, but thats what rage did at the moment.

Just had to let out my morning rant.

This almost happened to me about 2 days ago. Some overweight emo girl in her mom's Pacifica threw a cigarette butt out the window and came inches from my hood. I pulled up next to her giving her the "Excuse me?" look. :|. I feel you.

 

dude, at 30-50mph, the bud will bounce off leaving no signs of either damage to ur paint, damage to your clearcoat, or even leaving a smudge...

ps. ever seen how cool a flicked cig bud looks like in the dark, it is a spark... <- lol

 

that and the lack of the use of turn signals piss me off on a daily basis. where is the standard issue Acura disintegration gun when you need it.

 

The damage to my paint was to the least of my concern, I know I was going fast enough where it'll just bounce off but ppl flicking that shit out there window where it just flys back and hits your car pisses me off. If it's "flicked" properly so to say... then I wouldnt mind as much.

 

i dont even think your suppose to legally flick them out, arent they suppose to be put in the ash tray??

 

Well it's considered littering but who can prove it? unless you are a cop and you witness it..

Wow people get riled up over the dumbest stuff.
There's more to life then worrying about someone flicking a butt that hits your car.

 

It's weird the NY ppl posts in here are all similar in tone. I guess that I do care about this when it happened as it has never happened to me before. It was just a rant.

 

I'm a smoker and when I'm driving the Trailblazer (I don't smoke in the TL) and smoking once I'm done I flick them down ward towards the street to avoid the cig to fly back and doing exactly what you mentioned.........

but like they mentioned....I don't think it was intentional.....rude yes.....but not intentional....

I lived in NY for threeyears, forest hills NY to be exact.

 

Smokers suck ! Literally and figuratively. People littering suck, and those that do both suck the worst. They think it is only a tiny butt going out the window but have you ever seen the ground near every stoplight; hundreds of butts are gross as hell and it takes forever for them to decompose or work their way into the storm sewers to pollute elsewhere.

Just two days ago in the Denver area, someone flicked a butt out onto another car which resulted in road rage and a shooting death. Hope it was the inconsiderate smoker that died. Trouble is, the shooter will rot in jail for doing society a favor.

 

yeah nyc guy from manhattan dude they dont flick cigs here.... they throw out whatever they got bottle of soda, bag (very dangerous vision obstructing), spit, magazines, newspapers, junk mail, you name it they throw it out the window

im a smoker..so what..u got people throwin twinkie wrappers out the window...and i thought the NY thing was kinda funny...i seen cellphones get tossed out windows before...im surised i havent seen someone throw their wife out the window yet...HAHA!!

Gee, does it sound like it? Yea, it is an issue with me and I need to chill out some but it still pisses me off. Cigarettes have started so many forest fires in Colorado and elsewhere. Since you smoke, isn't there a better alternative? Most cars don't have ashtrays anymore and people didn't use them anyway. How about a small can of sand that sould be disposed of easily. Please help me here, we could save the world and get me off the soapbox.
