Raleigh/Cary, NC, sighting

Sighted a carbon grey (anthracite?) TL, debadged, on 40 pulling off in Cary somewheres, 3/24/08 AM. One of you guys?

(I'm a ASM de-badged 2006 TSX, getting off at exit 295 daily.)

If it had 19s, and was tinted, he's on here and lives in North Raleigh.

Tinted ... yes, I do recall tinting. Couldn't see driver. Didn't notice wheels.

Hi David,

I'm moving down to Raleigh/Cary at the end of April with my TL from Boston. What dealerships are good for service there? I don't mind driving a little bit to get to a good one.

Chris

I've had good luck so far with Leith Acura in Cary. I haven't heard anything bad about Performance Acura in Chapel Hill either.

They are both good news bad news.

Took Leith Acura 3 shots to determine the left brake light LEDS were only half as bright as the right ones.

They did swap the old 6MT oil out for the new "S" formula one without charge even though they "could not reproduce the problem".

Got my BMW from Performance in Chapel Hill & have had similar "could not reproduce the problem" results with them.

Main thing is they are the only two in the Triangle.

Have only been to Performance Acura (where I bought) for a repair of something found on delivery of my CPO. Service Manager's a pretty nice guy, and they have TL loaners (guess that's standard).

Really, it's going to be a matter of convenience, is the Cary shop closer to you, or the Chapel Hill shop.

I understand that some jobs can be done at Honda dealerships, and there are a few more of those ... near Southpointe mall (south Durham) and on Capital Blvd (NW Raleigh).

Welcome to the area (in advance)!

Not sure if you are here yet, but you will find that its easy for a TL to get lost in the crowd.

That being said there is a bright yellow Ferrari F430 in the neighborhood that is pretty unique.

And an orange convertible Lambo I've seen a couple times recently. Saw a beautiful red Porsche 911 turbo last week PULLING A TRAILER When it finally got closer I realized the trailer had autocross wheels on it. Made me feel a little better...

Oh yeah, and I agree TL's are everywhere. Though there are even more G35s and Lexi of various flavors...
