So I have had a 2005 base TL, and now own a 07 and 08 Type S.

When it's cold outside....say 32 degrees or so I'll get a hiss or static from mainly the front center speaker. It goes away in time (a minute or 2) Anyone experienced this? I can't remember if it did on my past 2005 but it certainty does i both the 07 and 08. ONLY does this in cold weather. Again, no biggie just more curious...

 

Nevermind, I did a google search. Seems it's the amp. Only happens in pretty cold weather and honestly goes away in a minute. Ugh mods if possible delete this thread, my apologies...

 

Yup most likely amp needs cap replacement. My passenger front made odd noises in cold weather.
