I've had mine since 2003 and have it cook in the summer months and freeze in the winter. It works really good and is smart. It doesnt just beep. Get it and quit your researching. You can hide it by hard wiring it into the fuse box, I'm a noob and was able to do it. Do a search on here and do it!
