These are annoying situations that I know we've all been in but has never been posted.....until now
1). Toyota Prius
Coming down University ave. in Berkeley, and this fool in a prius makes a right turn from a side street and cuts me off. I proceed to the left lane but he cuts me off again WTF? I jump back in the right lane and we both hit a light. He's got greenpeace and parking permit stickers all over his bumper. The light changes and he's got a jump (he's goin full throttle and I didn't expect it) but I leave him in the dust. I'll admit it, he did make me push it a little(Those thing's aren't slow but ugly as hell). We met again at the next light but I made a turn into the gas station while he chirped his tires
2). Chevy Astro Van
On 880 in Fremont this mexican dude in this van was kissin my bumper... I Speed up to 75(medium traffic) but he sliced his was thru traffic and decided to cut in front of me (I was aware he would do this so I braked to give him enough room b/c if I didn't, he would have hit me) So now I'm pissed.... I see a large Raider's sticker on the rear glass, mexican flag license plate frame and about 8-9 people in the van(mostly kids) We finally hit open road and I pass him in an instant but I see him zigazggin thru traffic near collisions on every lane change tryin' to catch me. I'm doin 110+ when I realize this dude's gonna cause an accident tryin' to catch me.... so i slow down to 75 and watch him zoom past me... musta been doin' about 100+(is that possible in an astro van full of kids?)Poor kids.....
3) Scion Tc
I'll make this short cuz I hate scions. I'm in the fastlane on int. 80 when I see HID's on my ass. I pull to the next lane but the car paces me.. Maroon scion and he wanted some action...I didn't want to go b/c interstate 80 has too many chp's but I knew if I didn't i'd regret it... I slowed down to 55, put her in 2nd and pulled 4-5 car lengths in a couple of seconds..... took it up to 125 and couldn't even see him in my rear view.... I slow down and 5 minutes later he does the "fly by". He had some decals on his fender.....

I went for a quick run on I-5 yesterday to dry off the car- 75 in a 70, in 10 miles I was passed by everyone, including a guy doing over 100mph using the right lane/truck lane as his own. Cars and vans with luggage and bikes and articles of destruction periously bungeee corded to the roof rack----
Add the drinking, fatigue, get home itis, turkey hangover and you have a lethal mix on the hiways
Best you can do is drive with your lights on- keep your eyes open looking ahead and behind and let the other guy go find the cops for you~

3 miles of rolling hills 35 foot wide racing surface with a pro race driver riding with you as your coach/mentor/voice of reason

 

I have my own "lost races" I was pullin' out of my driveway when this toyota rav4 pulled around me and gave me the I was upset because I had already pulled out and proceeded to drive foward when he went around me and flicked me off. So I drove right on his ass until we hit Geary near the beach. I jumped in the next lane goin head to head with him. He would not look over. As soon as the light turned we both go at it. I pulled a couple of cars ahead of him but that's it. I don't go past 50 but he flys past me giving me the finger again. That car wasn't slow at all.

I "lost" to a Civic Si five times in a row. It was the mall parking lot which had five stop signs in a row with maybe 100' apart. I had just had the transmission rebuilt and they put the wrong torque convertor in my car which stalled at 1,200rpm instead of 3,600rpm. Off the start my car could build no boost and was gutless for the first 30' or so.

Some riced out Si pulls up next to me and I thought nothing of it until he floored it so I did the same. Right as my turbo spooled we were at the other sign. As I was stopping he took off again so I floored it. Every time I would roll out, turbo would spool, blow the tires off and then I would have to stop right as I caught him. So frustrating.

Then there's the time I showed up at the street races with a mostly stock motor to watch and not race so I was on street tire and pump gas. Got talked into racing a 12.40 sec supercharged Mustang on slicks. I ended up beating him bad but he left me hard off the start. I'm glad the 1/4 was marked out a little long.

I was on great highway this morning and this mr2 twin turbo raped this new sti from light to light. Even off the line that mr2 had crazy launches. I don't know the spec's of an mr2 but this one was black, bodykit and had TWNTRBO(something like that) license....

 

I had some pretty bad races in the past but it wasn't with the TL.

Story 1:
Driving my 05 civic and my car is not riced out, its all stock. This civic is also a very good looking car ex, tinted windows and looks like its been dropped because i got a load of crap in my trunk. Anyways I was driving and stopped at a traffic light when this jerk beside me in a BMW 330ci starts starring at me. I knew he was going to rip it so I just didn't even try. When it hit green all i saw was his back at the next traffic light and he was turning left so he actually waited for me to come close to him so he can stare at me and then he drives off. I don't know if you guys experienced this but most Mercedes and BMW owners are jerks.

Story 2:
This race I actually had a lot of fun. It was midnight and I was traveling from one city to another. Just driving normally when i see this M3 pass me. I decided to chase him in my 03 Accord V6 (miss that car). I see him slam the brakes at the next traffic light so I caught up as quickly as possible. For those who owned auto Accord V6 will understand this but its a little dangerous. Basically at the lights I put my gear into D1 and that car went from 0-80km/h in like 4.5 sec or something. Basically he was like half a car length away from me but after 80km/h it was all him. I was surprised how well the Accord kept up with the M3 and it was some old dude driving it.

 

Altima 3.5
His car was rebadged with a 2.5(he was really quick plus it was an 04/05 with duals). I couldn't catch him for the earth but he was driving really stupid, zigzagging inches from other cars and using the emergency lane when after 5 minutes of this we finally hit open road. I jumped in the other lane and caught up but My car started stalling............I'm outta GAS!!!! I throw my flashers on and head for the exit while he flashes his hazards confirming his victory..

 

Why you hatin on scion's? If I seen yo gay ass acura in my city you will get rode on. Come down 2 seven trees and we could run on Capitol but yous too much of a biatch to challenge me

 

Scions are to Toyota how Lexus is to Toyota only the opposite. I'll break you off in my slow ass TL.

anyways back to topic, I was driving with 2 of my friends in the car, when I see this mercedes speed up behind me then changes lanes, so I put it in SS mode in second gear and floor it, and he just passes me up, then I took a right turn and he followed me, and we I floor it on second again, and he Passes by me waving at me, some old azn guy driving a 07 S550...those things are no joke...

 

Sounds like Soseductive's first run was against Al Gore's kid .

As far as the Scion tC goes, it does seem tC driver's have the biggest chips on their collective shoulders. That said, I pretty much would get an Si, used RSX-S or 5G Prelude before even considering the tC.

MrScion, just about every current Honda and Acura model (exc maybe Civic Hybrid) should make short work of the tC.
