I was on Ventura blvd in Los Angeles last night when I came up to a convertible 06 m3 we were both going about 50 mph then we both floored it, it was dead even and when we hit 75 i had him about half a car length then we stopped. I could not believe that I was keeping up with an m3 neither could he. He kept yelling "your shit aint stock" so we both pulled over and I showed him. He wanted to race from a dead stop so we went to a quiet long street and then we both gunned it from a stop. Of course he kicked my ass. Then we did a 20 mph roll and we were dead even then he had me a out half a car. By the way I have a 07 tl-s 6mt.

 

Good run, the convertible M3 is a bit on the heavy side.

reading your post was making me regret not going against the M3 i was behind the other day....until i saw you had an '07 TL-S...great run...

 

lol, 07 TL-S 6MT, no doubt it could've kept up with the M3! But then come to think about it, it still have 60 less hp..and his car should weigh about the same as yours.....

 

I'd expect that advantage from a RWD car. Was his car SMG or 6MT?

Until what gear/speed are you able to hang when you go from a roll?
