Im spraying.. I can beat it though all motor.. I have probably one of the quickest TL-P right now..I might be wrong.. I have a cousin who drive a type S with a COMPTECH SUpercharger on 11lb with a good tune and bigger injectors running 12.4 in a 1/4 . .. I can hit a 12.9 on a 100 shot of nitrous..

How often do you run your nitrous? Is it a wet or dry kit and what brand? Also how long have you had it on the car?

holy crap it looks as though we wasn't even racing you! Amazing acceleration, how do you deal with the traction though?

what makes your TL-P so quick (without the nitrous)?

beat it all motor?

no way man, sorry. unless we dont have the same definition of "all-motor", or you have a different engine than the stock 3.2.

plus, the s2k driver cant drive for shit.

Why do you say the s2000 driver can't drive? The OP can post high 12s and low 13s. if the s2000 is mostly stock (which I wouldn't doubt), then I can see why he's pulling away.

a stock S2k with a good launch can get 14 seconds flat. Obviously that's not the case in that video. I don't think the guy driving the S2k sucks, it's just that he didn't want to be too harsh on the clutch, to get 14s you would have to drop the clutch at 5000-6000rpm. Then keep in mind that dirtyjohn's TL-P can do 12.9s....that could easily be 1.5 second difference against that s2k.

An S2K is a difficult car to launch, but judging from the video the S2K driver seems to have done pretty well - anymore and he would've had to stress the clutch.

Dirtyjohn is breaking 12's with his TL-P... theres no way an S2K can touch him without boost/nos.

haha man a s2k runs flat 14s, even high 13s with good tires and a good driver.

an all-motor TL-P with all the bolt-ons possible will run like what, 14.5 on a good day?

and im not talking out of my ass as i do have a TL-P and have been into this car for several years. I also have a friend with a s2k and i know what the car can do when driven properly.

I also have a tl-p with all the bolton's accept hi flow cat and now the tl-s IM and I have raced or thought I was racing a S2k and got beaten pretty easily from a dig to 70. I was a solid 3 CL's behind. I have no idea if it was stock, but it looked it. It looked fairly new too so maybe it was an 06. Those little suckers are fast. I'm not doubting a TL-P could beat an 02 though as it has a smaller engine than the 06's, but whipping one w/o FI is hard to believe.

HIS 06 s2k has intake.

my tl-p all motor = ( Custom cams, ported head, ported intake manifo, custom intake, electric exhaust cut out = open headers,)

O sorry for the confusion guys, NO WAY IN HELL stock motor TL-P can beat a S2K.

I know i can beat s2k all motor though

LoL. Damn. I know what all-motor means. But when I think of an "all motor" TL I think AEM V2, headers, spacers, pulley, exhaust, etc. That boring kind of stuff that everyone does. You've stepped that up a bit. Very nice.
Where'd you get that done and how much did it cost you?

That's exactly what I want to know too, did you do all of those yourself? How much hp/whp does your car output with just all motor (no nitrous)?

its a zex kit.. well on the cams i got my dad friend who build race car in houston to do it for me. He has a machine shop. he also did the port and polish and the intake manifo port. that is why i keep on telling everybody my car can handle up to 100+ shot. hahah I am waiting for a new fuel pump so i can change out my injectors and then imma have my dad's friend to tune it for me. Well i just auction me a CL-S 6 speed. So i am bout to do a swap. and then yeah ill keep everybody updated..

man nice stuff....I wish I had friends like that.....no wonder your engine can handle that much stress with ease. What do you think your car would have performed if you started out all of this with the TL-S? Also, any chance of posting pictures?

12 flat? with slicks or street tires though? I mean that would be as fast as a 911 turbo or corvette! What's your next big plan? strengthen internal parts and turbocharge?

yeah on the type s motor, i am getting all the internals done. from bottom up.. That's why i am doing a six speed swap that way i can handle all that torque. But my goal is a 12 flat.. maybe a lil faster.. Man i just wanna show everybody That our TL isnt no punk. hahaha

o of course imma have to use slick or else no traction

so my dad's friend recommended me to get a 3.5 block and put the types head on. So he is gonna bore out the block to a 3.7 and bigger pistons and everything. Im getting excited. Now i just gotta go get me a 3.5 block from a MDX or a ridgeline or anything with 3.5.

lol when don't you go a step further and get the 3.7L engine from the new MDX? Would that be too expensive since there aren't that much out there?

yeahh.. to expensive.. thats why its cheaper to go with 3.5 bore it and bigger piston that way when i spray or boost i wont have to worry about blowing the engine

i can spray UP to 225 shot of nitrous GUYS!!! im excited. but im not gonna shoot htat much..Let's hope all this go through. im searching for a 3.5 block
