Race: TL vs RSX TypeS

I'm sorry guys, but I just had to mention, and believe me I didn't instigate it. I had two other friends in the car when an RSX pulled up. My friends being the punks that they are sometimes, wanted to see how possibly fast my car was in comparison to the "ricers". And believe me, it was a ricer with all the usual fixins (exhaust, lowered, body kit, and those dayam wings) . Green light, let him have a little jump, then I hit it. He never had a chance and he was by himself. We all heard his vtec pop, but we never saw him til we stopped at the next light. Are they really that slow? Or are we really that fast. :cop: thank goodness we didn't get caught

Come on man, a RSX is no match for a TL. Of course you smoked him. You're a mean bully.

When VTEC engages, you don't hear any sounds. You probably heard the guy shifting gears.

Good kill.

Unlike the "experts" lurking these boards, I don't study auto mags night and day, and I wouldn't know if our car was faster than an RSX or not.

But that said - you bully! :lol2:

I'm not one for racing, but I blew the doors off an MDX the other day. Sweet.

In every DOHC VTEC engine, you will most certainly hear the VTEC engage. In the RSX-S at around 6,000 RPM the engine note changes dramatically.

I've raced a couple of RSX type S, cause I used to owned one myself, they aren't that slow themself, I found out that the driver has a lot to do with it, cause I beat one type S, about 4 or 5 car lenght, and the others will hang with me the whole time. I really like their I-Vtec better then the old Vtec, in wich we have in our car.

Funny, I thought "gentleman" don't do that.... You feel good about beating an MDX, why not go for a Ford Explorer while you're at it or how about a Cavalier? Be proud BJ, you beat an MDX, WOW! Call mamma and proclaim it! Hey mommy your TL smoked an MDX! WooHoo!

I have to admit though that considering what 4 door cars ran not too long ago the TL is doing ok.

Thanks, I was wondering about that. My wife has an MDX. I think I'm going to go challenge her to a race right now. :lol2:

Yeah, it was sarcasm, whatever makes you feel better about being a hypocrate. Now go follow someone to a grocery store and ask for a pat on the back, don't forget to ask them how cool your car is, good boy. Don't forget to race a Land Cruiser on the way and take that on ramp at 90, then come back here and call it sarcasm when you're being an online asshole and expecting people to accept it when you do it, but not handle it when others do it.

I'm sorry. You were being sarcastic when you made the trip to the drag strip in your wicked-cool family sedan? I didn't realize the depths of your humor, making up all those calculations and times. "No one had a barometer handy". It's sheer comic genius.

Do you even know what you're responding to anymore? Do you ever read anything in full and understand what was written, comic genius is when you post funny things and people laugh, utter stupidity is when you post as stupidly as you do.

As for wickedly cool, it's you pappa smurf who stalks people to the store to see if they will check out your ride and then say you were being sarcastic about it. Where do I say I was being sarcastic about the trip to the track?

Now read this slowly and try just once to understand the letters being drawn for you by your monitor. If you need help a person can be called to read and explain the words, even the simple ones, yes it's true, you can do it, now start with the simple letters, there you go BJ!

"No one had a barometer handy"
Can't even quote properly, good grief....

Here is what I said, if it's too hard to understand let me know.
unknown barometer, nobody had one there that I saw
It was test and tune day BJ-the street racer, professional racers were busy doing other things. If I really really wanted to know what the barometer was yesterday I'm sure I could have found one. Your desperation is showing, if this is your continued attempt at sarcasm, try something else, it's as lame as most everything else you try.
