I just had my shot at one of these getting on to the 210east. They're definitely fast, but I smoked him. I would've done better if my clutch wasnt slipping. From the dig, we had to turn to get on the on-ramp. He was on the inside lane, so already he had a front wheel on me. Then he started to creep on me at about 45-50mph. So, BAM- into 2nd I go and my clutch slipped like 2 whole seconds. As soon as the gear fully engaged, I was closing the gap. Into 3rd, some slippage, then again closed more gap. By this point, he could tell I was going to smoke him so he tried blocking me, so we exchanged lanes and I smoked him at the top of third, begining of fourth gear @ about 100mpg. Driver is some geek in my econ-4 class, always argues with teacher and wastes everybodies time. I should knock him out for trying to cover my lane at triple digit speeds. He swerved into my lane when I started getting some passing velocity, FU*K! So I swerved into his lane and switchedwith him. I'll bring the whole ordeal up next class.

Wow that 6.4 they got is a joke.
I would say low end all R32 with a driver that launches the car, unlike whoever did that road test.
Top end would match out.
That said they have posted low 14's at 97+.

I'm sorry but lately ive really been starting to like VW. My friend has an 04 Jetta GLI 1.8T thats Chipped, Diverter Valve, N75 Valve, CAI, Turbo Back Exhaust (3 inch piping) that includes the down pipe thats 3inch and OMG those VW's run soo fucking good. Shit is fucken quick. He's boosting like 25psi but holds like 20psi. If he gets the turbo upgrade with the intercooler etc, forget it, its over. He'll be competeing with WRX most likely if he does, but then again there still will be alot of other cars that could easily beat him if they have the right work done.

Couple of weeks my cousin raced one in his G35C Auto, and from a roll on the highway they were very close, pretty much dead even. Which was suprising to me. So stock to stock IMO, a TL-S vs R32 should be very close with a slight advantage going to the R32.
