Couldnt find a TL body for it so I got a Honda Accord and made a decal sheet from digital pictures from my TL. Found some rims that kind of look like the A-Specs too.

Its got AWD

Nice mods! That must be the only TL on the planet currently with AWD.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to get another body and do a blue pearl mist inside before laying down black to get it to match better. I'll see if i can get a better pict in light and maybe a video so you can see it in action!

Its a: Team Associated RC10 TC4

You can buy the chassis kit alone for about $200 with the team stuff on it. Theres another kit that comes with radio and electronics i think about the same price range without the upgraded parts. You can also get team parts with electronics for around $300, truthfully thats about what you would spend on the electronics anyway but I already had a radio and speed control so in my case it wasnt worth it.

There are also other chassis types available for much cheaper, this one is pretty much one of the top ones out right now from the box. I might also suggest getting a prebuilt one, it took me about 10 hours to build this thing up! But theres also a fun factor in that..

If anyone else is interested in building one, i can let you guys know what I did and also get you a JPG of all the lights and stuff.. You can take it to a walgreens and get it printed as a photo for .31 cents and cut out all the lights and glue em to the body. Its not too tough, the hardest part was scaling everything to fit the body from a 4x6 photo print. I need to find a better glue that doesnt fade the picture as badly too.. There is a company that makes it, but I didnt want to wait a week to get it ordered. I also wanted to try some epoxy glue but the tubes that I bought one side of the mix was empty I'd already made 3 trips to the same store trying to get the size right on the pictures so I was tired of going back. So my next body will be better lookin

All kidding aside, you have a nice TC4 and it's always cool to have radio control cars of your real 1:1's

Nice HPI! I really like how they mount the batteries on that. All of mine are on one side and electronics/motor are on the other. Not sure about the weight difference but I'm sure it weighs more on the battery side so its going to corner to one side better than the other.

You are correct though it is faster, i'm using an old stock motor I pulled out of my old RC10T thats been mothballed for about 10 years. Neighbor across the street got a remote helicopter and I got all fired up to get back in to R/C again. Looks like I need to get a modified motor and a 7 cell pack of 3700mah batteries

Laxplaya11385: Mine goes only about 30mph i think. I only have one pinion gear that was out of my stadium truck so its geared pretty low, but it'll do doughnuts on a dime. Could probably throw in a better motor and some tall gears and get it up to 50 or 60.

These cars can be made very fast. The acceleration of an electric car is phenominal. I can smoke just about any car coming down my street.

If your looking for top speed, your best bet is a gas car that runs on nitro. I resisted the nitro cars for a longest time until I realized just how fast they are. My nitro RS4 racer 2 is a screamer that is capable of well over 65mph. since it's a 1/10 scale car, thats like a real car doing 650MPH

I have an OS 15 along with a CVec tuned pipe and mip boost bottle for low end torque off the line. The two speed transmission allows it to reach insane speeds. Needless to say this only gets run in big empty parking lots

There are many ready to run nitro cars for about $350 that have smilar performance.

My HPI Nitro RS4 2 topped out at about 60+ mph. Just about everything on the car was upgraded from the chassis to the super shocks to the engine. Cost me about 1,500 bucks or so. I've been out of the RC scene for a while... I miss the fun, but I don't miss the bills. They can get super expensive real quick.

Thats a sweet ass car. I havent owned anything nitro yet. I have a buddy thats always had em and first time out smashed it full on into a curb cause of a radio glitch. It was for the most part toast. But yea.. thats the main reason I havent tried nitro yet. I'm afraid i might like it too much and sink a fortune into it.

I remember my very first R/C car, was a Kyosho Turbo Ultima. I taco'd that thing on a curb in the mall parking lot the first time I ran it :/
