i was juss wondering for the WDP TL drivers, do u guys ever look at ur car and sometime think it is kinda yellowish?

 

yeah, thats cuz' its expensive paint! Lots of pearl, metal flake, and clear coat. I had to get a fender repainted and it was expensive. The yellow is actually a gold shade!!! You make it sound almost dingy!?!

my rear bumper is kinda yellow.. but i think theres already been a thread discussing how our wdp tls have discoloration there. but other than that.. my wdp is still white diamond pearl

 

well im not tryin to say its a really bad thing, its juss that i would rather want it more white, but when i wash the car its less yellow so maybe i should juss wash it more

 

i agree with the last 2 posts. i also noticed that the rear bumper tends to get dirty faster then the rest of the car.

 

Compare to 04-06, I realize that 07 WDP TL has the worse yellowish rear bumper. I took mine back to dealership but they refuse to repaint it because it's strictly come out from the factory paint. They keep saying that the yellowish is came from the plastic material on the bumper. However, from what I see I don't find any problem on my front bumper.... this is just simply a defect paint from Acura factory in US. In fact, I don't see WDP TSX has this problem even thought they have the same WDP color to choose. The only difference is TSX is made(paint) in Japan, but not for TL.

 

My rear bumper is more yellowish as well for my 05, but when i was wit my friends at another body shop they said the same thing. it was due to the plastic material so i cant argue bout that if all the body shop says that.

 

My car is only yellowish in the spring when it's covered in pollen.

YES, I hate my cars color thanks to the bumper, Check out my recent thread about my WDP bumper repaint problem, Now I have a neon white bumper and the rest of the car looks yellow. I've paid 2 lease payments and can't wait for it to end. I'll get black next time and it won't be an Acura.

 

so does mine....but when its clean its WDP all around...
