2007 TL-S

So I need to head out right now.
But I don't have my keyfob with me, I left it in my jacket, which is in my mom's car.

But I don't wanna wait for her to come back so I can get my key back, but I have the valet key.

My question is, if I used the fob to lock the car. Will the alarm sound if I open the doors and drive the car with the valet key?

 

No. As long as you open the door with a key, the alarm will not sound.

I have a spare key, without the immobilizer chip, in my garage in case the doors are locked and I want to open them, and that doesn't sound the alarm either.

You're probably gone by now, but if you're not, it's safe to go.

I'm actually still here. I told my friends I'll be abit late. They don't eat that fast anyways.

I was hesitating when I was at my car, I put in the valet key but I was afraid to unlock the car.

As long as the key has the correct immobilizer chip in it, it can unlock the doors without the alarm sounding.
