Quick Question

Just got a certified 08 TL with about 40k. Obviously, it is still under warranty for the next couple years or so.
My question is if I start looking into lowering the car, getting sway bars and so on will this eliminate the certification because those parts are not covered under Acura?
I am still looking into all the options and trying to grasp eveything you can do with these cars but I just don't know if doing these mods or keep the parts stock until the certificaton runs out?

you're going to have to keep the car stock forever.

^he's messing with you Zagman.

feel free to do whatever you want to your car. BUT keep in mind, that if you lower your car...and 6 months later you blow out your axles...and you go to the dealership trying to get it fixed under warranty...they're going to say that YOU caused the damage bc YOU lowered the car and changed the dynamics.

in the same respect, if you lower your car and your navigation unit craps out on you...they'll fix your navigation system bc they can't connect the two issues. basically, your warranty will be fine unless you're trying to get them to replace parts that YOU YOURSELF have caused damage to by modifying them. if you lower your car A LOT and you end up scraping your j-pipe or crack your oil pan...they will blame you. (hint hint...keep your stock suspension around just in case you have to get something fixed...hint hint)

know what i mean?

^ get coilovers before wheels.

a lowered TL on stock wheels looks awesome.

a stock height TL on aftermarket wheels looks like poop.
