What do YOU think?

Since it's your car, isn't that what matters?

Are they required in your state? If not, then I'd pass. If so, it would probably be a good idea.

It's required in Utah. A cop won't pull you over for not having a front license plate, but if he's a prick, he'll write you up for it if he pulls you over for something else.

I hate front plate. The car is much nicer without it.

In my state they are required but I still don't have the front one. Luckily my front bumper doesn't have the holes in it either. I think it looks better and a lot cleaner. And like he said, a cop won't pull you over for it but if you are a d-bag to him then he will probably write you a ticket for it.

Plates look alright with a plate relocater kit that moves it off to a side instead of it being dead center of the front.

i think the front plate TOTALLY kills the look of our aggressive front bumpers.

plus, you can rock one of these domed decals instead...looks way better than a front license plate!

Someone drilled through the caps on my front bumper, AND put a 3rd screw in on the top.

I'm probably keeping a front plate on unless the bumper cover is replaced.

I have one on right now because 1) I don't have an Aspec kit on my car yet 2) I want to replace my entire front bumper and 3) I live in Maryland which requires a front plate.

When I get the Apsec kit on my new bumper, I will not be abiding by this stupid Maryland law.

I'd prefer no front plates but since it's law nothing I can do about it. The good thing is most dealerships install a license plate holder onto the bumper

When I took off my front plate/front plate holder, the bumper looked more aggressive and so much cleaner.

I have to have it on though, plus the paint behind the front plate holder was obviously different lol

If you have the choice of not running with a plate, then I'd remove it. My Much cleaner looking.

if you take it to a reputable shop, they'll remove the aspec lip and paint separately.

TL looks a million times better without the plate.

Also, is this the new place to kill grammar? Jeez.

We actually passed a couple of TL's because they had front plates. no one ever cleans behind them and you need to plug the holes if you are not required to have front plates. I like NO front plate

i don't know why everyone is so scared to run without a front bumper. i live in a state that requires it but i've never had it on and i've never gotten hassled for it.

if you get pulled over, just keep the plate under your passenger seat and show the officer that you DO have a front plate, but you're waiting on a bracket from the dealership so that you can properly display it.

^ Agreed. I wouldn't hesitate to run without it by any means. Not in Maryland at least. We're surrounded by states that don't require one. Half the cars driving in Maryland are PA registered and don't need a front plate, so I don't think the fuzz pays attention. Just don't do anything stupid!

Another state, like NY, where cars driving in the state are most likely registered there, it might be a different story.

The WDP front bumper will look better repainted as the color is normally off a shade. A repaint will match it up better. I had to get mine painted and it looked 10X better afterward.

^^^ this. they break up the lines of almost every car ive ever seen.

our state law says that the plate must be attached to the front of the vehicle. doesnt say it has to be the bumper though
