Hello, im guessing the minder system is the same as in the tl and the new accord. anyways i got a accord and it has 5,300 miles on it and there still no lights on for the a1 service! it shows 30% oil life, should i just go ahead and make a appointment? what do they do in a1? and how much is it?

 

The maintenance minder helps you schedule your services based on your driving habits. Wait until it reaches 10%. The system will let you know when to schedule an appointment gradually. A1 service is usaually an oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, and a complimentary dealer car wash with interior vacuumed. Roughly about $95.

Note: Complimentary car wash is part of the Acura division. Not sure if Honda offers this

 

No, just wait until it shows < 15%. It can take up to 10,000 miles.
