Question on Wrap around warranty

I got the wrap around warranty on my 2005 tl last year. I know that it doesn't cover maintenance and light bulbs, but I was wondering if it would cover a a frozen caliper? I think that seems to be the issue with my car as it sounds like someone is driving a rod into my rotor causing a scraping sound as I'm driving. I changed the pads back in June and the pads are wearing down big time. Has anyone had an issue like this with the warranty? If so did they fix it for you free of charge?

If caliper problem, it should be covered, but an internal break in a brake line can also cause the problem. When you changed the pads did the piston move in easily? if the piston was able to be moved easily, probably not the caliper.

To be honest I did it back in June so I can't really recall, but if this helps any the rotor (which it is the back drivers side rotor that has the problem) didn't look in good shape like the rest, meaning it had rust more on the outside of the rotor. I figured the reason this was the case is because the pads were low and worn down, so I figured that it wasn't hitting the rotor properly. When I took the pads off they just broke into little pieces. So i figured the pads were just really bad, now 6 months later the pads have worn down tremoundsly compared to the other side. Like really bad. In either case if it is the line I don't see that being covered, right?

EDIT: Also would they replace the pads and or rotor if it can't be turned? I spent some good money on those pads.

If it were a frozen caliper, I'd expect that the dealership would replace all parts that were damaged by the covered part. Just make certain that the caliper pins are lubricated and aren't frozen causing the problem. Remove the caliper and see if the piston can easily be pushed back into the bore. If the piston moves easily, it's not the caliper. If the piston won't move, open the bleeder and give it a try. If the piston then moves, break in the rubber line restricting the flow back to the master cylinder.
Just give it a once over before resorting to the dealer's high prices.

Well I just brought it to the dealership because it was really really bad. The pad is worn to crap, and you know what they told me there? The customer rep guy was like I'm going to be straight up with you, the caliper will be covered, but because the pads are worn and the rotor might be junk those aren't covered even though they were ruined because of the bad caliper. He was like I will fight for you for the pads, but the rotor will definately not be covered. I was like are you serious? He is like unfortunately that is how it is. I'm like well if worse comes to worse if the rotor isn't terrible I can get it turned(its going to have to be replaced), whatever, but if the pad can't be replaced I'm going to be heated. They are the goldcmax from duralast and those weren't cheap. Either way I can see myself spending money when I don't want to. I'm sure the rotors aren't cheap either. Thanks for you assistance, I'll let you know the result.

Buy his admission the bad caliper casued the pad and rotor to be destroyed so I wouldn't take it lightly. See what they are going to do, then if not satisfactory call Acura direct for additional help.

'Wrap around warranty' = Acura Care extended warranty?
Read the warranty info, I seem to recall that there limitations on incidental damages.
