Question: When re-sealing baked headlights

What areas do u focus on to ensure a good seal? Edges near the reflector and opposite edge where u pry it open? Along the top and Bottom?

The front lens has to be seated ALL the way in.

Otherwise, your headlights won't be flush with your bumper/fender.

I usually start at the turn signal corner first, then make my way to the other side.

You should run a whole new bead of butyl around the whole headlight. Don't focus to much on certain areas otherwise the lens will have to push through more butyl to be seated correctly. Then you may not get it pushed all they way back together to the clips.
