Question re: '08 TL Part Number - Please Help!

I've searched absolutely everywhere possible to try and figure out the OEM part number for the chrome (or satin silver, whatever) strip right above the license plate assembly on the rear of an '07-'08 TL. I've included a picture of exactly what I'm talking about, just in case.

I'm in the process of buying an entire new grill (all components) and having it custom painted to match my NBP TL. I've found and already ordered everything I need for the front end, but could not find this particular part anywhere. My plan was to order all new parts, have everything triple stage painted at the same time, take out the old parts, and install everything new.

My used complete grille assembly will be for sale on here shortly in case you're interested, in excellent shape.

Can anyone help? Please? Driving me nuts!

For a Base 08 TL the complete license plate unit is part number 34511-SEP-A21. Not sure if you can buy just the strip because it is not listed as a seperate part. You can view a picture of this part here: http://acura.bernardiparts.com/Searc...acura-tl-parts

I'm pretty sure you're correct, which kind of messes up my whole game plan, guess I'll just have to do a work-around. Seems odd they wouldn't sell that single polished part as they do for the whole front grille assembly, and that's the only polished piece (awkwardly placed, in my opinion) on the back of the entire TL. I looked at it some more last night trying to figure out how to remove it for painting, but didn't see anything super obvious in terms of fasteners. I suppose I could just tape it off and paint it on the car, but would rather not. If anyone has done this before and has some advice, feel free! I realize this isn't the most interesting thread, but the end result will be well worth it.

I could have swore that the silver piece came out of the assembly. Weird.

I painted that trim piece on my car. I painted it the same color as my wheels. Also painted those trim pieces around the front grill to match.
