Question on interior trim

I have the stock carbon fiber looking trim on my 05, but the 2 pieces are nicked and scratched like hell on it. was wondering what my options were to get them replaced? cant find them anywhere online reasonably priced.

their the ones in this picture, that run along instrument panel and down to armrest

u can take them out sand them down and repaint the body color, wrap them in dinoc, and the only other option is to buy new ones

The silver garnish is one of the more challenging parts of the interior, but after 2 tries I managed to get it right. Even with scrap, this should run you no more than $40. Here's how it came out:

What would the "technical term" be for that trim along the center console?

i had the same question when I first picked up my TL...the original owner put a big knick in the driver side trim piece...the price online from the dealer for a new piece is crazy - I think it was around $180 or something!

I ended up snagging a used one off of ebay that unfortunately isnt in any better shape overall, so I may use it as a test to dinoc
