Question for Canadian TL owners with body kit.
I recently purchased a TL and I'm planning to install the OEM body kit. Most dealers in Vancouver is charging $1800-1900 for the kits and 2.5hrs of installation. I'm just curious how much do you guys pay for the body kit? What about installation charge? Thanks for your information.

Did you ask the dealer how much they charge?
I mean your right.. the price wont be cheap b/c this is all OEM.. but maybe in the near future... when the replica's come out.. they can and will be cheaper

Oem Body Kit Installation
I brought my 04' TL OEM body kit from Sunnyside Acura; www.acuraparts247.com;
at 15% off. You can purchase each piece separately from them, unlike at the dealership who would only sell it as a whole package wheels and all.
I did the installation myself. It took me 3 hours. Of course I took my time and it was my first attempt. It wasn't that hard. After the installation I check by one of the dealership near me. My installation was better than what they did on their demo. Don't spend the money at the dealership. They JACK you big time. Do it yourself.
And if you are near me, in California, I can do it for a few hundred.

I purchased the body kit and 18" wheels/tires when i bought my TL....the price of the kit and wheels/tires was worked into the overall price of my TL....plus i traded in a vehicle so all that mattered to me was the difference.....which i was very happy with thanks to North Shore Acura......also keep in mind that a 3 year/60000 km warranty comes with my body kit and wheels since i took delivery with it all on.....nobody else (aftermarket brands ) will give you that......even you guys down south don't get that if i am not mistaken !
