Question about Lemon Law

So I've had my car for a little less than a year and I've faced quite a few problems...I know absolutely nothing about the Lemon Law and would like some information on it and how it relates to my Acura...

These are some of the things that went wrong in the car and had to be replaced:
1) Stereo (would not change into cd mode and dealer said that i should stop playing cd-r's)
2) Bluetooth module just froze and would not let me listen to the stereo, so they replaced it
3) Driver side and Passenger side window motors
4) Entire body kit (front, side and rear) had to be replaced cause it didn't mount/stick well with bumper
5) Glove compartment would fall rapidly so they fixed that
6) The rubber seal on all four windows was messed up...from the inside of the car, the rubber seal had gone into the door panels so they put new ones on
7) Subwoofer was rattling too much so they put in a new one
8) Headliner by the sunroof kept on rattling so that had to be insulated
9) The compartments on the front two doors kept on rattling so that needed some insulation
10) The whole tranny problem where the car vibrates between 1500 and 1800 rpm (problem is still not fixed)
11) Tires are almost bald with around 12000 miles on the car so I'll replace them myself soon...
12) Rear fender's clip was broken when installing the body kit so they replaced the clip and fixed it
13) Washer nozzles were not aligned properly so they just adjusted that

These are all the problems that I've encountered in one year...Yes, a good amount of them are VERY MINOR but they are still problems...Some are major as well and are a huge concern for me...I am not sure what is covered in the Lemon Law as none of these would affect any mechanical problems or my day to day driving...so it isn't a risk to anyone else on the road nor to myself...but I would like more info about the Lemon Law and whether the problems mentioned above could be considered part of the Law...

Don't get me wrong about these problems though...the car is by far, in my opinion, ONE OF THE BEST CARS ON THE ROAD!!!...i love my car and treat it dearly...there hasn't been a single day where I don't appreciate the car...I walk down the stairs from my apartment and I see my car and I just cause it's a great car!!! I would not have chosen any other car over this particular one, that's for sure!!!

Also, in this process, I could provide some feedback at my experience in having the car for around a year...I have driven it from Phoenix Arizona to San Francisco and it drove great!!! (those of you who don't know, that's about a 10-12 hour drive)...So it was the longest that I had gone with the TL and it drove really really well...but since my tires are getting balder, I am starting to feel more bumps than I had before so in a few months I'll definitely be changing the tires...so any recommendations on the tire would be greatly appreciated

So, can someone please provide me with their input regarding the Lemon Law and whether the problems mentioned above would be considered or not as part of the Law...Thanks...

usually, lime laws state X occurances during Y time, or Zdays in shop for specific issue.

i dont know your lime law, you'll need to read up on it....

and btw, if you drop it off to fix the vibration and say "keep it until it is fixed", it will most likely qualify for a lime because since it is a acknowledged issue and no fix is available it will fall into the lime law qualifications.

i have same vibration issue on 5AT, but i'm waiting since i like the car..

In California it's not just how many times you fixed the same issue. It's also whether that issue compromises the safety of your vehicle. None of the issues you stated would qualify. In CA there wasn't a single TL lemon law return in the last year. (at least that's what the dealer told me)

actually CA lemon law is not just for safety issues. it includes defects which substantially affect safety, use, or value of the vehicle. and it uses a test that includes # of times dealer had opportunity to repair THE SAME defect and/or # days the vehicle was in service for THE SAME DEFECT within a certain period of time. See a lemon law attorney if you think you may have a case. from what you listed it does not appear like a lemon.

the above does not constitute legal advice and is for informational purposes only.

I just went throught the lemon law process

I just finished with my lemon law case in Washington state on my 2004 BMW 330Cic convertible. Its fairly straight forward just do a google search with the word "lemon law" and your state. My case was settle before it ever got in front of the arbitrator and got my buy back. You really need to gather lots of information about the repair and it would have to show that it is still a problem after so many attempts. I was able to gather all the repair documents, notarized statements from eye witnesses and BMW technical service bulletin regarding my problem.

I was reluctant to get a replacement BMW because of their current quality problem. I swear off all German makes for now as I seen a general decline in quality for the three major brand of Mercedes, BMW, Audi. Now I am looking at a fully loaded TL and pocket the rest of the money for another good convertible in the future.

With the new introduction of the 05' and people lining out the door I don't think I will be in a good bargaining position. I'll wait until Christmas when there are more deals.

BTW, all you really need to start with the lemon law is call your local attorney general office or go to their website. You don't need a book nor a lawyer and more like going to traffice court.
