question about engine feel/feedback through accelerator pedal

While cruising, I get intermittent road feedback through accelerator pedal and shift knob. tires set to 35 psi all around, fully stock. The feedback is somewhat of a grinding feel, the feeling you may feel through the brake pedal with worn rotors. This happens during highway cruising, light driving around city streets, fully warmed up, cold start. is this the same with everyone else or am I just being anal as usual.

I think you're whack because the car uses drive by wire so there's not really a direct physical connection to the engine that would send vibrations or "tugging" to your accelerator.

It could be that at a certain speed and/or engine speed there are harmonic resonances or vibrations that you're feeling in the pedal; might also need to check the flux capacitor =p

I notice this on occasion as well. I can also feel the vibrations of the sound system through the gas pedal at times.

now - yes I sometimes feel vibrations etc but that's usually because I'm listening to some of those "rap" music type songs
