I was reading a FS ad online and there were no pictures posted. But it said that for an 05 TL 6spd with Champagne colored exterior, it had a black interior. Was that available? I thought it only came with beige.

 

I'm not entirely sure but I think I remember seeing someone with that color combo on here. I guess it could always be a custom job if it didn't come that way from the factory.

one way to find out is to see if the roof lining is black if so then yes it available with Ebony interior if not then the probably is a swap.

 

I thought the black roof lining was a Type-S thing...but maybe I'm wrong. My '05 NBP had the black interior, but I can't remember the color of the headliner.

 

That's correct. The headliner for the non-type s ebony interior is grey.

IIRC way back in the day I remember researching that it was possible to special order cars with any interior color, but you needed to talk to a district manager or something. I think I wanted to get blue with camel which wasn't offered anymore. It ended up not being worth the hassle. However such a car would be exceedingly rare. Don't know if this color combo was in regular production though.

 

It's at a local dealer and they verified that it has blk interior. I really like the combo because its rare. I'm going to check it out this weekend. Cross my fingers I hope its clean because I am a perfectionist. Thanks all for the verification.
