Quad Tips

Are there any quad tips to fit the 04-06 TL with rear aspec lip? Ive been looking for months now and looking on this forum but I cant find anything. All I can find are tips for the type s rear lip. Any help would be appreciated.

Maganaflow. They look kinda weird cause they have to be smaller due to the smaller opening. If you go into the regions section, then look at "nor cal post your rides" or something like that theres a pic of a 04-06 with aspec and magnaflow quads, and then a pic of my car with the staggered magnaflow quads

Yeah it's do-able. But as mentioned, looks very awkward. The single looks a hell of a lot better with 04-06 base or A-spec.

If you want quads, do the 07-08 A-Spec TL-S lip mod.

It's been done, I have seen a couple pics on the forum. It's doable. The tips look too small and crowded in there though. Look at the way aftermarket quads look in a Type-S lip. Those look like performance.

i should have thought about this before i bought my aspec kit...but i didnt want to have to go through the hassel of repainting the lip and cutting my rear bumper to fit the type s lip on the bumper, now it looks like im stuck with the dual exhaust instead of quad setup now. Magnaflow doesnt look that bad though, its a possibility....if anyone else has done anything it would be greatly appreciated.

I tried like hell to do quads when I did my exhaust but nothing I mocked up looked right to me. They really need to be much larger than the base opening would allow.

But this is also a personal preference.

Make some tubes or cutouts of various tips available and try it yourself.

Nice. If you can, please see if you can take a decent picture of these tips straight on from the rear of the vehicle. I would also be interested in seeing the weld work as well. What are the diameters of these tips? Thanks for working on this for us that are interested.

Thanks for the parts info. Any other pics of these on a TL? They look to be a little big to fit between the bumper outlets of the A-spec rear.

Ok. I rescind that last comment about it looking too big. It looks possible (well, if you did it with the same tips, then it is). I just want to see a better view before I order these things. Thanks again for dealing with all my hassle.

NCTL05 has these tips on his TL. Check the link and see if you still like.

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ghlight=NCTL05

If you could get this set with 2.75"dual tips , instead if the 3" tips I would buy them. I found a set on jegs.com that has 2.5 dual but I think they might be to small. Just some info from my research

those still look really big compared to size of the gap in the bumper for the exhaust. it seems to crowded but i guess it really is that hard to find nice quad tips for the 04-06 TLs

These are 6" wide compared to the set that NCTL05 aad the set post by Ethron247 which are 6'4" wide. From his pics it loofs like .5' is about what is need so they will slide into the origonal spot of the exhaust.
