hi kelly - welcome
there are numerous threads about this, regarding the quad exhaust, it is quite an investment and with a fair amount of work, it will fit. But there is a lot of work invovled and many would agree it isn't worth it...
regarding the type s lights, many ppl have done this conversion. I however, dont' like the way the type s lights look, so instead, I've SWAPPED out my 06 tailights for the 07 NON TYPE S BASE TL lights...its a direct swap.
enjoy

The Type-S tail lights swap no problems, the LED board is compatible and works just fine. So you could pop out the old lenses and swap em out.
As for the exhaust, the tips of the Type-S are too wide for the stock '05 TL bumper. You could do what other people on the forum did and cut some of the stock 05 bumper and fit the Type-S aspec rear apron on and then put the tips. It just takes some work and dremel tools, not to mention money too.

I thought to get Type-S tips, you had to get the whole Type-S Exhaust. That is, the OEM tips are not sold separetly.
I think I've seen a couple of similar tips. You could maybe find something from salvage too.

An azine member purchased my mufflers... He has an NBP 06 with a Base TL Bumper, and a Type S A-Spec Lip... The fitment was perfect, the hangers require no adjusting and it took 5 minutes to weld the mufflers on... You should've been here sooner bro I let them go for like 200 a pop (he already had the a-spec lip)
Further Note, in order for you to even get these mufflers at a reasonable price you have to find someone like me who is willing to part with them
I would reccommend you seek to go the custom route like another member here has already done

PS. From the dealer you can purchase a full catback - price tag $700-800 depending where

Check out the quad exhaust that aznbo187 is developing. Here's his website http://www.acuratlparts.com/
I plan on getting this myself. He's selling it for $1050, with a $200 deposit.
