Putting your windows up with the key?

So, you can put your windows down with the key fab, and put them back up with the key.. but i found out it appears that if you had your windows down to begin with (i.e. from using the switches inside) you can't put them up after the fact with the key -

Is it just me or is this true?

It must be just you, because when my windows were lowered from inside the car, and then I put the key in the door lock and turned it counterclockwise, the windows all went up.

Remember though, you've to lock your key twice. Lock once locks the door, lock twice rolls up windows.

Yep I remembered to lock twice, even checked the window locks

Wonder what's messed up.

more precisely, will it close the sunroof from both positions (up as well as back/open)?

IIRC, you need to hold the key in the counterclockwise position with the 2nd lock until the windows are closed. If you just lock twice and release, it won't close completely.
