Pulled the trigger
I have been on the fence for quite a while debating on whether or not to trade in my beloved 04 TL on something new/different. The wife and I were this close to getting a RDX w/tech package but I just couldn't do it.
After researching and crunching the numbers, I found it to not be the right vehicle for us for various reasons.
HOWEVER, while visiting a dealership to look at an RDX, we walked into the showroom and what was sitting on the floor but a Kinetic/Black Type-S auto!! I just glanced over at it but didn't pay it any attention because I knew it was out of the question. The wife looked at it and made a comment about how pretty that color was.
After talking about it for a couple of days, she finally said that if I wanted to get another TL then that is the only one she would approve of!! CHACHING!!!
So we are now the owners of a 07 Kinetic Blue/Silver-Black auto/Navi TL Type-S. I've only driven it about 30 miles so I don't have any real impressions of it yet. She has been driving it mostly.
I'll try to post some pics of it along with my others Acuras in the next couple of days.
I do have one question for other owners. Is it just me or is the radio not quite as loud/clear in this one as it was in the 04's?

Ahhhhhhh.
You are correct to assume the radio is not as loud as before, this is because of the noise cancelling feature in the new Type-s which uses the stereo to try to cancel out road noise!!
This can be disabled if you want a little louder stereo! There are two small mics inside the TL's cabin one in the front by the two dome lights and one in the rear by the two dome lights, you need to unplug them/......
Do a search and you can find out how, i believe it was in a thread in the audio section that said something about a problem with a sub and noise cancelling.

Congrats. I have 4K miles on my ASM TL-s Auto. I am getting ready to bring it in for service, need to have the rear deck rattles corrected. Otherwise, the car is a blast to drive. Very mellow in the sub 4K rpm range, but springs to life after that when needed. 21mpg combined. Still have not seen a road test on the auto, not expecting one any time soon, they always seem to test the 6MT, and I can't blame them.

Well obviously I've never tried to post pics on here because I was informed that you have to use an outside source to do it. Sadly for me, I to computer stupid to know how to do that stuff.
Therefore, I can't post pics of my rides for all to see. Unless someone can show/tell me how to do it then I'll try.
