What's the ride like with the springs? Did you install them yourself? Just looking for some info as I'm about to do the same thing. Thanks

I am little disappointed.
When I had Acura put the springs on, everyone requested that I post pictures. I get 2 replys and they are suggestions about wheels. That's next. Everything takes time.
How about the way it looks. Do you approve?

It looks great! Do you have before and after mesurements?

Did you consider Eibach springs? If so, why did you choose the Comptechs? I'm trying to decide between the 2 myself. I'm wondering if one rides more firm than the other.

Your car looks awesome. It looks like the springs gave it just the right amount of drop. The lower stance and body kit really work together well.

Don't be in too much hurry to get wheels. I think the stock 17's look very good on your silver car - it's a good match. You definitely got more appearance bang for the buck going for the drop first.

Thanks guys... I was thinking that myself about the stock wheels. I will probably be backandforth about them this summer. Hopefully, I will see some others with after market wheels for ideas if I go that route.
Answer to the question about "why Comptech?" Sinced it's leased, and the dealer gave me a great deal on the springs and install, on top of the fact they are built into the warantee, just made it more seamless, no hassle. As far as the ride. It is slightly tighter. But I like it. No complaints.

Also, since it is leased, if you keep it until the lease matures, you will have to switch out the springs to stock (in theory at least)

Maybe... The salesman said that by then they won't even think about it, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Can you beat stock Tls with the intake?

looks great!! Is there any rubbing? Can you still carry 4 adults comfortably and not rub? Any comments on the handling improvement would be appreciated. Do you still get that extreme sagging under heavy braking?

Thanks in advance!

I had five in there Saturday night. Did not notice anything....
It's a little tighter. Certainly no rubbing.
Acura would not be able to install or warantee if they caused problems.

The lowering springs did not seem to lower the car too much. If I was not a car enthusiast, I would not even notice it was lowered. Sorry to say that but I think the car needs a good 2inch lowering to see a good difference in looks and performance. I am still waiting for lowering springs over 2inches and can't wait to put them on. I used to have it lowered an 11/2 on my previous car (Integra Type R) but I could not stand the gap so I traded them in for some racing springs that lowers the car a good 21/2 inches. Then I noticed a big difference in cornering and stiffness of the ride. Not only does it performs but looks so much better when the Gap is eliminated.

It's hard to lower a car more than an inch in NY/NJ and still be able to drive it without slowing to a slanted crawl every 30 seconds. Not to mention you'd have to bring a hose extension to most gas stations to get some go-go juice.

1-1 1/2 with the Comptech is fine with me. I always slowed down for pot holes and speed bumps anyway and I never drive in the city. Always use the Subways.

Here's a pict with 18" aftermarket wheels installed.

What is your rear camber after the drop?
I'm curious to see if it came out of spec.

I have no idea.
Both Comptech and Acura did not feel that was a concern when I questioned them. As far as what the real adjustment was, don't know.

Damm those are nice rims by the way. They look like 19's. So what size wheel and tires you have them on. Any more pics??
