I just bought a swicthblade key of 07 TL and I try to reprogram it for my 06 TL. Does anyone know how to do it or have the instructions to do it? That would save me 55 bucks from the dealership. Thanks.

Did you buy it already milled and customized???

You can't reprogram it yourself, well, unless you have the reprogramming hardware used by the dealer and the licensed Locksmiths.

Try a locksmith... they might charge a little less than the dealer... "you might pay a little, or you might pay a lot... but you are going to PAY"

FLBusa is currently out of business I think, Call him up if he'll start bak up if ur key isn't milled. Also thre is no getting around gettin ur key programmed at the dealer.

My experience-
1.Get the key
2.Get it milled by FLBusa
3.Get the key cut to your car
4.Program the remote
5.Program the immobilizer chip(I think thats what its called)

 

I originally thought it would be easy to have it milled, but I was wrong. Does anyone know who this FLBusa guy is? Lots of dealerships heard of him but how do I contact him? Thanks for your help.
