When was the last transmission flush? Were the pressure switches replaced and when? Use a Type-F trans fluid next time.

No, that's not normal at all.

Using SportShift should result in quicker shifting than using "Drive" on the 5AT.

Your car's problem might be the sensor under the shifter console-- someone may have spilled liquid into the shifter area and gummed up that area.

is that gonna be so terrible for the gear box? i didnt touch it at all, so that means the dealer mess up? and i have a question.. what kinda trans fluid the dealer alway uses? cuz they told me they use the acura factory one.... is that better than the aftermarket fluid... thx!! and the other thing is when i use "drive" it shifts a little bit delayed as well... it goes up about 3500 rpm to shift up....

Notice I wrote SS "should" shift more quickly-- that assumes everything is working properly.

OP's 3-second SS delay should NOT exist-- there should be no lag on an upshift or downshift using the SS mode, compared to just lifting or using more throttle in "Drive" mode.

No, if there is something spilled into the shift sensor in the console, it was probably by a prior driver or passenger in the car.

When you say there is a "delay" and shifts at 3500 rpm in Drive, that is not normal if you're driving with light throttle, but is normal when accelerating with more than half-throttle...
Maybe you should take the car to a mechanic or the dealership to see if there is a problem.

Also, the trans sensors are not normally changed during fluid changes, nor are changes in the maintenance minder codes.

The dealer is likely using Honda ATF DW1, but there are a number of threads in this forum discussing alternative transmission fluids.
