I didn't notice when I picked up the TL that the driver seat had a "roll" or loose fitting leather. I took it into the dealer today and a service tech looked at it for a few secs and said they will replace the seat. It should be in sometime next week. Granted it would be nice to get the car without this defect but I do like the no hassle prompt attention.

 

What do you mean a "roll" or loose fitting leather? Do you have any pics?

 

I think several other people on this forum have had this problem. Basically the leather on the seats just doesn;t look like it is fitted.

 

basically its not fitted tight or even on the seat. So there is "roll" "hump" what ever in the seat. Like a long narrow blister.

 

I also have that "roll" in the leather on the driver's seat. Is this really a defect, or just the leather stretching? I know that leather is going to wear by stretching, and will eventually get creases and wrinkles. This is normal for leather, and I have it in my sofa and chair at home. I just wonder if Acura is going to warranty this issue.

 

Mine was not because of wear. It was that way when I picked it up. I did not notice it was tha bad till later. When I took it in I had 3 hours in the seat. I do expect wear in the seat but not in this manner and not from the factory. The service rep. agreed and said it would be replaced.
