Problem or Normal?
Problem or Normal?
I test drove a 2008 TL Type-S and noticed when I put it in reverse the mirrors slanted down, I guess to make parallel parking easier.
I then bought the same car a couple months ago, the mirrors DO NOT move when I put it in reverse.
I thought there were NO options on this car so I am guessing that mine is broken.
Any once else seen this problem?
Thanks

Not a sermon, just a thought!
"process of elimination" , "guess and check" realli that hard to do? "trial and error" ring a bell? move the switch left, notice the left mirror tilting. move it to the right the right mirror tilts, neutral position, no effect. as a driver, u should know the function of EVERY button in ur car. i dont understand how u can just buy a car and drive it without being curious about all the features in ur car. sry, i dont mean to sound mean, but i think ur juss impatient. realli make an effort to solve ur problem, and then if its still unsolved, post it on AZ forum. dont worry about pushing buttons, there is no self destruct button in ur car.

Especially important to read are the traction control and brake system- they are hi tech and you need to understand to operate fully
An '05 is ready for its first brake fluid flush if not done already- then every year forever to protect those expensive abs parts

Hopefully your problem is a simple fix, as suggested.

Thanks for the serious answers...
I could have a) read the manual b) googled it c) pushed all the buttons
But then Acurazine wouldn't generate any ad revenue because no one would be in here asking questions or answering questions.
Seriously guys this is a great place to come and hang out and help each other, no need to fill up every single thread with the old 'read the manual jacka$$' line
