Why?

Doesn't it come with auto-dimming rear view mirror?

This happened to me before.. But, I found one that fit! Here is the thread I created about the larger mirror: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/anyone-want-larger-rear-view-mirror-found-good-one-737862/

Here is a quote from my thread.. btw there will be alot of haters that will reply and say that there is auto dimming lol .. what these people dont realize is that sometimes the tint is so dark the auto dimming doesnt matter! lol Safety for me cuz I can see WAAAY more!

Here is the mirror I purchased:
Carmate PL114A Black Metallic Finish Wide angle Rear View Mirror (I got the 270mm one.. I think if I got one any longer than that, it would interfere with the sun visors)

Here is the new mirror I got:

Here are some pics to show the difference:
Old is on top (Broadway 270mm flat mirror).. the new one is on the bottom:

Old Mirror fitment :

Look at how perfect the new mirror covers the factory mirror! I can see everything now with this mirror like my other one, but now it looks nice!!

i know the original one that you guys get can stretch from 55mm-80mm and the one that DimwitRj shows i think it can stretch all the way up till 90mm. the original purpose of that mirror is for suv or mini van. lol

I dont think its gonna work still.. it says 80mm is the most on the link.. I was just trying to save some people some headache when ordering these mirrors.. because I went through soo many... trust me.. the carmate is the only one that I could find that was tall enough to hide the oem mirror.. if you DO find another please let me know tho!!

The one I posted is 90mm tall but the clips only stretch to 80mm which is what I measured the stock mirror as. Should arrive in a few days from amazon, I'll let you guys know how it goes!

Ummm am I missing something here? Whats wrong with the OEM mirror? LOL God that aftermarket one looks hideous! And how could you careless about the auto dimming feature? You prefer to have headlights blinding you everytime you drive at night?

They don't blind you with the convex mirror.
Once you get used to being able to see out of your blind spot, everything behind your car AND your backseat, you have a hard time switching back to the OEM mirror.

I transferred mine from my RSX-s and ended up turning it upside down. Upside down it covers most of the OEM one.
On the plus side, I can use my sun visors now...in my rsx they wouldn't clear the Broadway! lol.

The SuperView Broadway mirror fits great.

One problem now though. With the broadway on, I notice the mirror vibrating when I hit bumps, and the movement is coming from the post to the windshield. (not the broadway and not the mirror to the post)

Do you guys know how to tighten up this part of the mirror?

I know it wasn't caused by the broadway because with it always vibed a little without the broadway, but now with it on its just a lot more noticeable and more annoying.
