Premium Fuel

On a scale from 1 to 10, What do you guys think the importance of premium fuel is? I know many people who have luxury cars but don't put "premium" fuel in them. Any thoughts??

I think it's at least a 9, the fuel will affect the vehicle performance.
If it was my car and I wasn't leasing, no way I would be so frugal as to no put in premium fuel into a luxury car.

10 for your Acura with its hi compression engine.
91 octane or 93 if thats what is sold in your area

If you cant afford 1-2$ more per tank than regular gas- sell the TL and get an econobox

A 10. For some cars it's an option. Lesser the octane, lower the hp, however, Acura states Premium Gas ONLY.

10

In my opinion 10.

I wouldn't chance it, saving a few dollars now, is not worth the potential large cost later.

My Tl is the only automobile I have EVER owned that I am looking forward keeping for many years, thus I plan on taking care of it accordingly ( I have owned many many automobiles).

Plus, no way will you catch me doing anything that might the affect performance of the TL , one of the Tl's aspects I enjoy the most.

Here we go again. I say 10. Use premium. End of story. Actually there are a million threads on this topic and people need to learn to search. Hopefully they close this thread soon before everyone goes off.
